charcoal grills in each of our three Hampton Roads locations. |

Customers
who choose to cook their own steak can pick their own piece
of beef from the cooler and cook it exactly how they like
it, be it rare or well-done. While you wait you can cook your
own garlic toast or top your own baked potato at a fully loaded
potato bar, offering both hot (chili, mushroom gravy, cheese)
and cold (butter, sour cream, chives) toppings. |

to cook your own steak to perfection. So bring your drink, pick
out a beautiful piece of beef
and come meet new friends as you cook the meat the way it was
meant to be cooked.

Our Beef

The beef you are
about to eat is not the beef you buy at the local grocery store,
or find in ordinary steak houses. The beef we serve is Premium
U.S.D.A. (United States Department of Agriculture) Choice Beef,
hand selected by our packers from Mid-West cattle ranchers for
our use at The Grate Steak. This beef is for those with a discriminating
taste and contains an ample amount of marbling which produces
great flavor and tenderness. The beef we serve is corn-fed, aged
for 21 - 28 days, never frozen, and carefully trimmed to ensure
your eating pleasure.
