Beef
The
beef you are about to eat is not the beef you buy at the local
grocery store, or . nd in ordinary steak houses. The beef
we serve is Premium U.S.D.A. (United States Department of
Agriculture) Choice Beef, hand selected by our packers from
Mid-West cattle ranchers for our use at The Grate Steak. This
beef is for those with a discriminating taste and contains
an ample amount of marbling which produces great . avor and
tenderness. The beef we serve is corn-fed, aged for 21 - 28
days, never frozen, and carefully trimmed toensure your eating
pleasure.

Over Live Charcoal

In a blind taste
test sponsored by a major charcoal manufacturer, 2 to 1 participants
preferred the taste of charcoalgrilled food to gas. Participants
were asked to compare chicken, steak or hamburgers cooked over
charcoal to those same foods cooked over gas. Tasters commented
that meat grilled over charcoal has a real barbeque
flavor, has smoky flavor and tastes
like it was grilled over a real wood fire. It really
boils down to taste with charcoal. The Grate Steak buys truckloads
of real charcoal briquettes to impart that barbeque, smoky flavor
to the meats you cook on our giant grills. Combine that real
charcoal flavor with the premium steaks we offer and you are
in barbeque heaven. Around the grill you will find tongs, cooking
tools, melted butter and an assortment of grilling seasonings
including our unique blended seasoning salt, pepper, garlic
powder, and Cajun spices. Your chef s assistant will be
available at the grill to offer a helping hand. Listed below
